Weikersheim Village & Palace

We continued on to the village of Weikersheim to enjoy its culture and the palace there.

We enjoyed the unique sculptures sprinkled throughout the medieval architecture.

We enjoyed a relaxing symphony in the town market square featuring Hayden, Sibelius and other great works. A school of music is nearby.

Like many of the villages, there are numerous fountains from centuries before.

Sculputures everywhere!

We entered the arch to the palace--residence to counts, lords and later princes. The beautiful gardens behind the palace were massive and though not in full bloom, very beautiful.
